Our press has gone a great job on Katrina, don't attack it. The press saved many-many lives and many of them risked their own to give us the story. We obviously need a strong press. If we didn't have one, Bush and his cronies might have taken another 2 days to get their act together. They were shamed into acting by the power of the press showing the people how things really were. The most vocal critic I've seen of Bush and FEMA on TV has been Joe Scarborough and the GOP senator of Louisiana. Try attacking them for a change. What has the far rightwing press done during Katrina? Attacked the victims. Primarily black victims and the black mayor. People who were literally underwater at the time.
