DOW 10589 has so far completely ignored Katrina, which will be much more costly and catastrophic than 9/11. Mind boggling. Entire cities nearly wiped out along with ports which handle a major portion of US goods, including oil, the lifeblood of our economy.
Add the political crossfire, and a lot of uncertainty should be what dictates the market direction.
Not complaining, port did well, as did what appears to be everything else
