Thanks Sioux,
I just showed RH and Maid Marion to Mary.. She just loved it, she wanted it printed out, I will do it..
You know, I once played Robin Hood in a play. Very prophetic.. Besides I used to be pretty good with a bow.. More prophetic.. I could hit a coffee can from more than a few feet away.. Very prophetic..
BTW, I still have my good bow, an all wood recurved bow.. No fancy stuff. Here is a primer on recurved bows..
ancientarchery.com
When I started. I made my own bows out of osage orange wood.. The arrows out of old butt cedar, but with a very straight grain..
My father taught me all this, besides teaching me how to be a a bow and arrow maker, to being a good compassionate person, to raise cattle, to being a good citizen, to cut wood, to help others, to drive a drift, to read MUCH as one reads BETWEEN the lines, to hunt and handle a firearm, to pull a calf, and to talk coherently and on and on..
But MOSTLY HOW to think INDEPENDENTLY....
