Lets see the levee breaks happened Tuesday, didn't they? It was actually quite late Tuesday before everyone agreed how bad this was. Feds were there Thursday and there was the convoy's coming in Friday morning. Now this is just from memory but that response time doesn't seem to outlandish. I think we could have operated from the federal level better, but their response isn't as awful as many want to believe.

Why everyone and the press want to believe the feds are doing such an awful job is the real question of the day here. I had hoped folks wouldn't take this awful disaster and turn it into a Bush bash but that seems to be the case. Unreal. Real people dying and these jerkoffs can't stop with the get Bush.

The response on a local level was unarguably totally incompetent. Since this is always your front line of defense why isn't anyone talking about that? Oh that's right they are all democrats in charge of the local response.
