re: Somehow, it comes as no great surprise that when FEMA was helping out in Florida in 2004 they wanted to coordinate with Bush's campaign managers. The German media, a news show called Tageschau, reported on September 2 that all of the background activity seen going around Bush when he strode through an area was staged. It quickly appeared before he arrived, and just as quickly disappeared after he left. I forget who it was... one of the first guys who quit the administration. He said politics ran everything, that there were no decisions based on actually accomplishing anything. That's this admin, politics and ideology, and no substance or competence. No pragmatism... and it's really, really cost us. In Iraq and New Orleans... We're stuck for 3+ more years, it's hard to comprehend that they will do even more damage to this country. John
