I'm not sure why you guys can't see this. This is not a hurricane or a Midwest flood. This is a flood of a major city of a million and a half people. To suggest that a total evacuation of that city within days isn't "adequate" is just lacking any grasp, whatsoever, of the magnitude of this event.

Keep in mind it was a flood of 1.3 million people because Mr. Bush cut back funding for the city's levees. Lives and billions most likely would have been saved had the work been done.
