Elroy, You seem to have a much deeper knowledge of this than I. I noticed recently Alberta expressed interest in a desalination technology some Arab nation had developed. I thought Alberta...desalination...but the nearest ocean is miles away to the North or West.

Alberta now has water shortages due to the requirements of the oil sands. Even discussions of nuclear reactors include putting them in neighboring Sask (where the uranium is) as water is more plentiful.

So perhaps Alberta would run a pipeline from the Arctic to carry seawater for desalination?

On a side note, do you think THAI could work?

Cheers

D
