Balanced budget amendment NOW! Even if it means raising taxes, particularly on the oil companies and very rich who have mde out like bandits the last 5 years.

We can't afford anything else on the national credit card.

Clinton proved you can raise taxes a bit and produce a very functional economy where everyone wins and the dollar is king. Under Bush, a few people win and the rest lose, the dollar tanking and debt climbing so high it will take decades to pay off.

Three moves we should make: end the war, stop Bush tax cuts for the rich and cut corporate welfare. That alone will save about 800 billion over 5 years.
