RE: "You are in the minority. The nation is blaming FEMA and the President."
Got a link proving that? You couldn't be more wrong. I'm sorry, but the poll shows something very different, and rightfully so. The poll was taken the 5 & 6th, which was not all that early. So long as a whole set of facts aren't held back by Bush Bashing Media (and this is not likely to happen in this case, IMHO, despite seeing some of it done on CNN), 13% is about right for the number of rabidly partisan souls who believe Bush is mainly to blame. AT worst, they'll ignore the local and state responsibilities on CNN and CBS and NBC and ABC enough (and without presenting the other side equally), so that the country will become 50/50 on the issue (but frankly, the facts are so damning concerning local and state screw-ups, it may never get that close). I don't have to tell you again what the initial response is, per the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll. You know what they say about first impressions, they are usually correct. Yes, I say all this precisely because, as you say, "this is an issue of execution." I can't believe you didn't notice the failures in execution at the state and local levels, noted in my posts (just for the sake of balance here in leftie lala land).
