2005 post-election-time Gulf - FEMA grade F

This proves that if Bush had really cared, he could have had FEMA and the military waiting the day after the storm to move in en force and save tends of thousands of people. Instead, Bush waited. FEMA waited. The military got no orders.

Four days later, finally help started arriving.

Bush also cut those levee rebuilding funds. Slashed them to the bone. And the Iraq War was where many of the needed resources were. What a waste.
