you got me, I'm a fiscal conservative too. About the best I feel that I can hope for is that the massive pork-laden transportation bill with its Alaska bridge to nowhere will get scaled back to pay for Katrina. There was nothing good in the transportation bill that I saw, and I think most US citizens would like to see NO rebuilt.
