Email problems with AVG & Norton's Anti-Virus question:

For years, I've had both Norton's & AVG installed on my PC without any problems. Probably 6 months ago, however, I *finally* installed SP2, and suddenly the AVG program wouldn't allow my emails through; it just kept cycling and cycling. I then uninstalled the AVG program and sure enough, I was able to receive my emails again without a problem.

Now, however, my subscription to Norton's has expired, so I thought I'd try AVG again. After installing it, unfortunately, the old 'cycling but not letting my email through' problem has returned.

Any thoughts?
I'd really like use just AVG, I think, and not have to buy another annual subscription to Norton's.
