All I know is that the objective data presented by you states the following. "It shows a slight cooling trend." In view of that I do wonder at you faith based assertion that "there was good evidence to suggest that that temperatures were increasing."

Using your source and looking at what real global sensors say. It shows a slight cooling trend, numberwatch.co.uk

Less fortunately, the satellite record is relatively short, as the technology has not been around for very long. It shows a slight cooling trend, but all finite data sets show trends that are not necessarily properties of the parent distribution. All the satellite data tell us at the moment is that there are no dramatic changes of temperature occurring.

I have seen no analysis presented and have no idea what you are standing by.

I donot belittle you view that global warming is going on. I stated rather directly that the data does no show it. And in that such a view in the face of real data to the contrary is clearly an indication of something irrational. I have stated the kyoto proffer were all based upon data that was a fraud. They used falsely interpolated data.
