Labor Day weekend, the big driving weekend too. The lower than expected draw down probably reflects a changing attitude as the consumer wises up to the fact it now costs $50 to fill up an economic Honda Civic.

The opportunity to make the impulsive sale should be reduced as the mind set of conservation takes hold. I'm thinking the higher end retailers are going to get hurt this time.
