I already did try it. I gave all the banned posters amnesty as a Christmas gesture, and within three months all of them except for one had done the same things that got them banned before, and they ended up rebanned. So what would be the point? Those months were really ugly (you can go back and read the thread). I don't want to put the thread or myself through that again.
