Westernik says it would be difficult to have more than 200 to 250 ports in a CO in the U.S. without exceeding NEBS specifications regarding wattage per rack.
The newer 7MB CAP modems draws 7 Watts.. Sorry Ron but in this case you can't have the best of both worlds.
So which is it Ron? Are you selling 4 watt modems at 4MB, or 7 Watt Modems at 7MB.

I still have not seen the new modems running at 7MB, not even across a short distance at N+I 97. I've got to see this thing work in a real world environment %&*#$@*^$#$%@&*%$+@#$%^!#$%@*&%&@#*%
