Just to add to your death tax comments, IMHO having practiced as a CPA for many years one of the WORST aspects of it is it only effects the middle class. The TRULY wealthy are able to afford the lawyers and accountants and have the assets sufficient to justify elaborate schemes to avoid any at all. Example, the KENNEDYS, the MELLONS, and MANY MANY OTHERS. jdn
