The link you provided says this, "The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has reported that sea level is currently rising at about 1.8 millimetres per year, largely through melting of the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets as a result of global warming."

1.8 mm per year is what? 180 mm or 7 inches per century? Plenty of time for mankind to adjust. As for as the GW part, that is just BS theory. True scientists knew that the ice caps were melting after the Geological surveys in the 50's, but attributed it to the continuing of warming that has been ongoing since the last ice age.

The article says regional weather patterns may increase snowfall in Antartica, and slow the melting of the ice. Howeveer, he article supports my argument that global warming is real and its effects measurable....

I know that over time the ice caps will melt till almost gone, till the next asteroid hits earth. But it is funny that they attribute the ice sheets breaking off and getting thinner on one side of the continent to GW, and they also attribute to the thickening of the ice and overall growth of ice to.... guess what, GLOBAL WARMING. What is the appropriate old saying, you can't burn the candle at both ends, or you can't bake your cake and eat it?
