Yes, I think restaurants will suffer first, as they face a double whammy of being exposed to people trying to save on driving and also discretionary spending.

No doubt high gas prices will also affect semis negatively, but I am not quite sure I am as negative as SEMI, as the rebuilding effort down south will be enormous. You will have purchases using insurance $$ you would not have had before, so I am not quite sure how SEMI takes this into account, if indeed they do at all.

Like the Polaroid commercial says, we will need to see what develops;-)
