Doing the arithmetic, if they are offline 100 days, that's 320 BCF lost, or about two weeks of quite cold weather's worth. With what has already been lost, that's about the amount needed for February 20 to the end of the heating season, roughly. That could mean a severe shortage taking shape in January.

Simpleminded thinking, but nobody in the press or government is saying that.
