I can assure you that middle distillates are in short supply.

If its not going for JP-8 for the military, which is what I hear, there is a gigantic mystery buyer of jet fuel.

This problem also occurred periodically during the Viet Nam war.

I would not be surprised to see Bush try to spin this so the refiners are to blame.
