While it is my practice not to respond to sentences beginning with the word "Dude", I'm making an exception in this instance because I don't know WTF you're talking about.

If you are trying to suggest that election year politics accounts for FEMA quick response in Florida last year, I would just point out that those were Hurricanes.

Had this been a mere "hurricane" there is no reason to expect that the response would have been other than identical. Which clearly supports the idea that the response was hindered by the fact that 80% of a city of 1.25 million was flooded, with those 1.25 million people having to be evacuated in the week AFTER the storm since the local authorities had no plan whatsoever to deal with the crisis.
