Not to criticize your consumer choices Robert, but do you want to pay 2.5 times as much to "rent" a Divx disc ($5) as to rent a DVD ($2)? And do you want to go to the local Circuit City every time you want a movie, the lines at the ones in LA are a NIGHTMARE! Granted, these things may appear in Supermarkets, but how much space can non-video stores dedicate to Divx? And then what kind of selection would you have? If you are a frequent renter, you visit the video rental store anyway, and can drop the discs off at that time. Or, since virtually all video rental places have night drops to eliminate the "hassles" of returns, you can simply drop and run. Personally, I own VERY few movies, but like to rent different titles to watch ONCE. Paying extra to keep the disc is not my preferred choice. But I'm only one person, and it's important to get a cross-section here, so what do the rest of you think?
