The memorial design for Flight 93 in Shanksville is called "Crescent of Embrace" with a crescent surrounding it. Consider the religious symbolism of the crescent...a symbol that would honor the terrorist hijackers more than those that fought and died that day. A "cross" or a "Star of David" obviously were not allowed, so why do we "honor" in both design and title, a symbol of the religion in whose name the heroes and innocents of Flight 93 were killed.
