You know, I have to LAUGH when I read something like that and see how well the Dems have pulled the wool over blacks eyes. I am a southerner, I have been a southerner all my life, I lived during the days of the KKK. In fact my next door neighbor was a LEADER of the local Klan. Now, if there is any blacks on this thread, here is the FACTS. Lincoln, A REPUBLICAN freed the slaves, the NORTH run by Republicans supported freeing the slaves. The SOUTH after the Civil war became almost 100% Democrat and the Democratic Party supported keeping most rights AWAY from Blacks. That was the beginning of the Democratic party that exists even up to this day. I was never brought up that way, mainly cause my parents were Republicans, my brothers were in WWII and saw blacks in service with them so our attitudes were far different then our neighbors. I could go on and on about the trickery the Democratic party has pulled and the downright thievery Jesse Jackson performs etc etc. but this should be sufficient for anyone with an open mind to realize what I say is the truth. jdn
