My friend just built a house similar to that. His glass is hurricane proof and requires no shutters. I dont know if its bullet proof or not but I do know that just the MATERIAL cost alone (not the labor, not the frame) for the glass in his house was $25,000. How many people would pay that amount of money for just the glass, probably TRIPLE it for total installation? jdn

ps: My neighbor across the street did something that was really cheap, dont know how good it is, but he covered his existing windows with a plate of Lecican (sp?). Might be a cheap alternative.
