Despite popular belief to the contrary, there is unquestionably more racism in the US than in South Africa, on both sides.

In SA, only 9% of the people are white and they are hardly in a position to maintain their "whiteness" by force, as they once did and as the white majority in the US still does. Indeed, in SA today, the main source of racism is the official, affirmative action policy of the ANC government which is directed against whites with the intention of correcting "previous economic wrongs". White South Africans, together with the Malaysian Chinese, are the only minorities in supposedly democratic countries who, to my knowledge, have no "minority rights".
