Everyone on Earth will have to have a device which enables transactions, voice and other data. That's called OFDM sitting inside a QUALCOMM ASIC in a cyberphone. CDMA will do well enough for a while. WiFi/OFDM/CDMA multimode devices will be necessary. Maybe with GSM still there for a while. The value of a global currency is about $10 trillion but maybe as much as $30 trillion. That's quite a bit deal. The olde style centrally planned government fiat currenices are now living on borrowed time. The transition to a person to person value system owned by the people who hold the money is underway. The idea of electorates owning the money via the politicians is out of date. Mqurice
