Short course in how to shaft the shareholders: 08:31 ET Genaera announces $24.5 mln direct equity placement (GENR) 2.62 :Co receives purchase agreements from unaffiliated institutional investors for the purchase of 11.4 mln shares at $2.15 per share for aggregate proceeds of $24.5 mln pursuant to the co's shelf registration statement. In addition, warrants to purchase 3.42 mln shares were issued to the institutional investors with an exercise price of $3.15 per share.
