Listen, I've been through two hurricanes in the past ten months, Ivan and then Dennis, how many have you been through? The mayor and the governor knew they had over a hundred of thousand who needed evacuating and yet waited until the day before to order a mandatory evacuation and then gave no thought to how these poor people were to get out of NO when they had no means of transportation. They sent in school buses to evacuate but that wasn't good enough for the mayor, he wanted greyhound buses..at that point, just get the people out..Move them inland and then worry about comfortable seats..The school buses sat there and were flooded.
