Point well taken. You and/or others do this sort of thing to me all the time. Ya'll never take it back. But you are correct here.

What you said was that they'd be better off looting than working for less, not that you'd prefer them to loot.

Standing corrected, I'll re-phrase. I don't agree that they'd be better off looting than working for less.

I believe that if they are not allowed to work for less, many won't find work at all. I believe they'd be better off working for less than not working at all. So I do believe many who would work won't work, if pay is required to be what you wish it to be. Therefore I'm for preventing mandated higher pay from forcing the unskilled poor out of the job market, which it obviously will do.
