for awhile i thought icge was going to morph almost completely into an operating co. by consolidating a handful of cos and running them for consolidated P&L. now i think they are going to be a hybrid; running some cos and venturing others. one thing for sure, they have some cash to work with now and will buy one or two new cos. and increase their stake in others.... i do think they have engineered an impressive survival although they blew thru a bunch of cash in the process. they also learned how to operate the parent co. with a minimum of sg&e and i think they have learned a lot about what to buy and how much to pay for it... i wish they still had logistics.com which they had to dump during the downturn but they still have some great properties...
