Excellent points Carolyn. That may be why fresc did not reply. The personal responsibility always seems to stump lefties. It is opposite what they believe and worship in state control. "there is a road out called education." The third world countries that are trying to change their status are aware of this and have plans to educate their population. The third world countries I have traveled to had plans, and are educating themselves out of their poverty. I have listened intently to a former minister who is now a missionary when he returned to raise money. He is actively involved in providing education to the people of his flock, and in increasing his flock.
