I agree. There are also many ways to "hedge" the various stock positions. You can for example buy Leaps or Puts in the OTC market. You can "short against the box". Calls can be written. However, there are SEC limitations and disclosures on some of the stratagies. What I think is going on is that Gerry talked to one of his old "butt buddies" at CDN (Mr. Lu) and convinced him that there are ways to support the stock in the near term (Amerindo and Market Maker manipulation) and that the legal battles will drag out long after what ever holding period is required for the new shareholders of AVNT. I'm sure that you will see a bunch of selling as the holding period expires. Hedge
