If NW had any gold in the ground at the time of Ormetal issue # 128 (Available for free on the web site) and in the time frame the initial sample results were put out by CKG the gold has not gone anywhere.

<Several rock chip and channel samples taken from pits excavated
along the fault, 2 to 3 meters deep, returned gold grades ranging between 13.0 g/t and 77.2 g/t.>

It is important to understand
here that paying cash up front is indicative of what
Chesapeake thinks of the potential of La Juliana.
The announcement says it all: β€œLa Juliana is a volcanichosted,
bulk-tonnage, epithermal gold prospect that
exhibits similar geological characteristics to El Sauzal
(3.2 million ounces)”. Remember, the average grade at
El Sauzal is 2.5 grams per ton. We find the following excerpt
very exciting:
β€œ The gold mineralizing system at La Juliana appears
to be both structurally and lithologically controlled.
Zones of high-grade gold mineralization extend for more
than 500 metres along a major north-northwest-trending
fault.
