Elroy Re: "corrosive" I'm not really talking about this happening with "in use" vehicles but antiques that were parked ten or twenty years ago with gas in the tank. The gasahol era fuel just eats up the whole fuel system. An older vehicle, one that was parked back in the days of leaded fuel (one that was put in the barn in 1970 with fuel in the tank) is usually in pretty good shape. This is only a problem to those who restore these vehicles.

But what do you think about sugar cane ethanol? Is it above "break even" energy wise and if so is it enough of a net contribution to be worth the trouble?
