"That is a setup for stagnant or shrinking economy, rising goods and services prices and falling asset prices. Your assets will evaporate, your income will buy less in goods and services and the economy will stagnate. That is the endgame for the asset bubbles in stocks, bonds, real estate and the dollar -- a pathetic end to what could have been a very prosperous society indeed." About as good a summary as I've seen. However don't you think some assets might still do very well? What was a good investment in the mid to late 1970's? Natural resources? Gold?Oil patch real estate?
