Yes many of us listened to the Dalai Lama on Larry's show. The DL is very well aware of the polarization of this country and hence avoided going further into the notion of karma.

I have had some exchanges on this thread where I had implied the same think without using the word Karma. The wingnuts, ignorant as always, came on and asked why I was blaming Bush and his recent actions in Iraq and the UN for Katrina. And off course the DL said it well and better than I did. After all he is the one who is the DL and not me. If I could say better than him, then I would be the DL.

According to the Karmic theory, Bush's present actions such as causing death and destruction of innocent lives in Iraq, showing a finger to the other nations of the world, trying to destroy the forum where other nations meets to solve their differences peacefully namely the UN has now come back and hit him and the country that he governs. It is a natural catastrophe. And now he has been signalled that this past actions have brought along the present catastrophe.

So now we need to move forward in rebuilding. Pull our troops back from Iraq to rebuild here and not rebuild in Iraq. Stop spending billions to sustain the Death Enterprise (Iraq War) and instead put those monies into the rebuilding of NO and the homes of the poor.

Enough said and wish you a nice and happy day.
