Bill and Guy, I'll leave the arguments regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the JAZ and Syjet drives to those who are more skilled at making these type of comparisons. I don't believe they are as important as other success factors such as marketing and cost anyway. Besides the obvious concerns as to support, compatibility, availability, etc. with the Syjet, there is one much more important consideration. Syquest previously did not know and still has not reported whether they can actually make a profit on the product. I believe this is a critical factor and the reason why the new management team that was brought in to find an acquirer or partner was unsuccessful.
