believe it provides a very good framework, one that has been borne out by subsequent events. The framework has torn apart. The debate is over. George W Bush has admitted fault. Somehow, however, I do not think it was an admission in the same vain and tradition of the Bush family as would have been in the aristocratic manners of George Herbert or Prescott Bush. This feels more like a Karl Rove admission and a prelude to damage control.
