And I think I "understand" but I don't "support" the suicide bombers. You "understand" how/why the guy today lured Iraqi laborers to his car, killed as many of them as possible along with himself? You understand how for him this was a desperate expression of his objection to US military presence in Iraq? You understand why he killed ~100 Iraqi workers and himself rather than carry a sign in the public square, rather than vote against some politician, rather than at least try to kill a soldier? I don't understand that at all. I think a society/culture/religion that produces that as a method of expression is sick, and needs to examine itself to remove whatever it was that produced that guy's beliefs.
