I think that Intel may help Dell, etc. catch up with speed but SUNW should maintain their competitive advantage because they have an enterprise operating system (Solaris) that is being given away with the server. That is a real competitive advantage unless MSFT purchases a hardware company which I think they will be forced to do at some point in time. Also, currently, Windows does not interoperate with UNIX or Linux so that is another advantage for SUNW.
