I've noticed too. It is funny to see the price of gold moving independently of the dollar these days. It is as if things are about to break free in a big way with the people in the rest of the world (not the central bankers in the rest of the world) starting to realize that all currencies are flawed. Per the Washington Agreement European central bank gold sales are used up for the year until I think September 27th. Things could get very interesting very fast (or maybe not).
