First Data Names Chief Technology Officer DOW JONES NEWSWIRES September 15, 2005 9:42 a.m. -- DENVER (Dow Jones)--First Data Corp. (FDC) named David Dibble chief technology officer, effective Oct. 1. In a press release Thursday, the electronic commerce and payment company said Dibble, 45 years old, will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Charlie Fote. Previously, Dibble was managing director in the JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) technology unit. Guy Battista remains First Data's chief information officer. A company spokesperson wasn't available to say whom Dibble was replacing. Company Web site: firstdata.com
