Among the possibilities to short real estate, here's a new one... You can short the DJ Real Estate Index ($DJUSRE) via mutual funds: 139.142.147.19 139.142.147.19 Profunds has a long/short pair of mutual funds (REPIX is long, leveraged 150%; SRPIX is short, not leveraged). The short fund is brand new. They also have a short oil fund that is brand new. I like to keep track of the leveraged mutual funds for restricted retirement accounts that don't allow me to trade stocks. T
