Hello Pezz, Today's Report: I could not resist, and Internet makes it all too easy, so I bought another tranche of paper certificate gold, adding to the taels of same I have been accumulating all along, along with the physical hoard already put away.

Gold, it is getting more precious, now against all currencies, because it is difficult to print in its physical form, and dangerous for anyone to promise availability at some future point in some quoted price.

Will look to add gold shares tonight, along with some combination of put/call arrangement.

Gold will be beaten down this time, like all times past, but I feel the truth is beginning to dawn on the lumpeninvestoriate ... 3/4 of trillion USD spending on a war that has no end, a city meters below sea level, and roads that will only require more oil that isn't there and more repair eventually, will perhaps scare all, even the densest of them fiat money / un-payable debt lovers who cannot do the math that would indicate borrowing money to pay interest is not a winning idea.

We are only in September ;0) Enough time for another 1/4 of trillion USD to become necessary.

I suspect most folks responsible for the coming mess do no even have any idea of how many zeros there are in a trillion.

Chugs, J
