Here's a number of consumer comments about Verizon DSL service. dslreports.com My brother just ordered it. He won't be activated until the 26th. Everyone else that I've personally mentioned it to has been outside their service area. The $14.95 service will not be as fast as conventional cable and some people have a low opinion of Verizon's customer service... But for someone on dial up or someone who doesn't need the higher end speed, it should be a fairly decent option.
