65% of Americans agree women should make their own reproductive choices and keep the government and rightwing nutsos out of their bedrooms and hospital rooms. It would be more than 65% except for the fact that the rightwing has been raising hundreds of millions on this narrow-minded wedge issue and lying to the public calling abortions "murder" and morning after pills "abortion pills". It is a totally irrational and unscientific way of looking at things. Plus, most rightwingers would rush to an abortion clinic if their daughter were knocked up by the wrong person. And they know it. They're almost all hypocrites. What this is really all about is the far rightwing religious nuts wanting to turn back the clock on the sexual revolution to the days of repression, prudishness and puritanism. Won't work. And isn't realistic or fair.
