To a limited extent. I like the Elroy Proposal. You can pass any wealth you have accumulated in your lifetime, tax free. Anything passed to you is subject to confiscation at your death. Unless you are a useless parasite, your children will be wealthy. If you are a useless parasite, then they drop to the bottom of the queue. This proposal has merit, you can provide for our children, but they can't be Paris Hiltons. If they are, then their children have to struggle like everyone else.
