So you believe the higher tax rates in Australia create more lucrative employment and business opportunities, than the lower tax rate regimen in New Zealand.

Don't forget the more stringent environmental and zoning laws in Australia -- they likely help as well.

Quite interesting. Mauricegrad needs higher taxes and more stringent government controls, to achieve greater prosperity.

Perhaps New Zealand should raise their tax rates to the Australian level, so New Zealand too can "quickly build dirty great roads."

New Zealand graduates "interested in money coming in" could then remain in New Zealand if they wished.
